Visited the falls over Memorial Day. We hiked in and out and it was amazing! Highly recommend to anyone interested.

My dad lost his camera down there -- he left it in one of the outhouses. If anyone found it, please let me know! Joshdowning04 at hotmail dot com. Thanks!

Just went on our hike. The falls are amazing. To bad the village is full of trash and not nice at all. The poor animals are so skinny I thought they would drop dead in front of us. How sad that the Indians don't take care of the place they live and their animals.
Don't believe them when they say your car is secure where you park it. Our vehicle got a broken mirror and they dent the side of it too. To bad all the bad stuff kind of over shadows the beauty God made at the falls. To bad the people who live down there don't keep it nice.

Our party of 5 just returned after staying 3 nights at the campground. We enjoyed the beautiful new falls and the campgrounds were really nice especially with the addition of all the bathrooms.
However, please be aware of the tourism office as we were overcharged a entrance fee, (charged twice) and had a major problem with the horses for the ride down.
They arrived very late around noon with temperatures close to 95 degrees and advised by two Supai guides to take the helicopter. We were told the horses would not be charged to us due to their error in getting the horses up to the top so late. Later when trying to get a refund, Manager Tim is the only person who can help us and he is always unavailable and does not return phone calls. Very poor way to run the Havasupai tourism office. Tim, is you read this, CALL!!

I recently visited the supai falls for 4 days and everything was great and a very exciting experience. But, when I returned to my truck, someone had smashed my mirror and dented the side of my front fender well with something. All the money you pay to go and see these magnificent views and now I can never trust that my vehicle will be safe there. I will let all my friends know about this and I will never go there again. Native Americans always talk about respect? Well? Thanks Havasupai Tribe!

I am going to visit Havasu Falls on Memorial Day Weekend (May 24 to May 27, 2012). I am considering on purchasing a solar charger to charge my digital camera batteries and my cell phone. Do you think I will need it, or is there electricity at the lodge or near the campgrounds?

I made reservations for Memorial Day Weekend and want to add 1 more person to my reservation for camping. I called and they said they will not be taking any reservations for that weekend. Has anyone had luck with calling each day and hoping for a cancellation? What would happen if I brought just 1 more person with my reservation?

Thank you!

I will be hiking to Havasu Falls during labor day long weekend. I have heard that August and September might not be a good idea because of the heavy rains in the region around that time. Also, the falls just turn muddy. I really want to see when it is Blue/Green. Any comments? Anybody else vising Havasu around labor day long weekend.
