Great Joy that the Elders are walking America for Diabetes and touching the land. Let us know that with each step; healing occurs.

Gina, I've also been trying the tourist office at the various numbers. Then I called AirWest Helicopters, who fly in and out several times a week and know the situation. The woman there told me that the tourist office is not open for business, so obviously neither of us is getting any reponses.
Tomorrow I'm going to try the tribal office and find out what is going on. 1-928-448-2731

She also said that the trail in has been repaired and that people are using it (tribal members only of course)

Good luck!

Since February 21st 2011, I have been trying to reach someone at Supai to make a camping reservation. I've tried every day Monday through Saturday at different times throughout the day and have called (928)448-2201, (928)448-2121, (928)448-2141, (928)448-2174, (928)448-2180, (928)448-2951 (cafe), and (928)448-2731 (tribal office)....no answer and the phone keeps ringing. Can anyone help me?

Thank you!

I was here for a week in 1979. Beautiful. Hiked down and back up. Lucky I lived thru it! Was not prepared with enough water and hiking up-wrong time of day-hot hot sun! Fun memories. I got to experience the waterfalls before they changed! :!cool:

I have been visiting Havasupai since 2001, it is a place that will give you a different perspective on your life. I think a person learns different things according to what they need to learn, others ... well, they don't learn a thing...I have experienced some magical, mystical and profound things. I have been given wonderful, and awesome blessings from the spirits within this place. So to all that visit, I hope you open your mind and heart to receive what is for you ... Peace.

I have hiked the GC once for 5 days and have been really looking forward to a trip to Havasu Falls for a long time. I'm pretty sure that in the next 12 months we will want to plan a small (6-10 people) company outing to Havasu. Really looking forward to it.
