Comments: Hello, I want to come see the falls in early October, but have limited time and would like to do the trip in one day, without sleeping there. I was thinking to get the helicopter in the morning down to Supai, hike to the falls, spend some time there to swim and take pictures, then walk the hike back up. Is this do-able in time before nightfall? Also, as we want to do the trip in 1 day we would carry only small daypacks with cameras, food, water etc. Is it safe to leave our big bags in the car boot for the whole day at Hualapai Hilltop? Thanks! Can't wait to go!!!

Comments: Truly a magnificant experience. Mother Nature bestowed the most beautiful waters deep in the Canyon where life runs at a different pace---definately worth the walk!

Comments: So we can go under that persons name even if he just said how many for the reservation and not our names? There are only 3 of us now and we don't want to be stuck with him. I would be surprise if he is still going since no one wants to go with him now.

Comments: This was an incredible adventure! Thank you to the Havasupai Tribe for allowing us to visit. (July 13-14) Our family (2-adults 2-children 12 & 7)made the hike in a short amount of time and enjoyed every step of the way. We had a great time in Supai and at the falls. The residents were so amazing. I don't think we could be as tolerant with visitors in and around us 24/7. Again, thank you. Reminder to all who look to visit... Show respect to the people and the canyon. Pack out what you pack in and leave not a trace of you there but the memory of your respect. It saddened us to see the disrespect of some visitors, and the trash they chose to leave throughout the canyon. We picked up as many items (which were left by others) that we could and hope that more will do the same to help protect the beauty of the canyon.

Comments: I visited this paradise back in 1990. It was so beautiful. I've longed to return. And I am. This next week!
I have a quick question for the admin- do you pay your fees in cash or can you use a credit card? It would be easier to pack credit than a bungle of money.
Also the same question for the stores and cafe, cash and/or credit?
I am so excited!

Comments: Hi Admin,
I have tried explaining it to the office more then once they just keep calling to see if anyone cancels. Now only 3 of us still are willing to go because no one wanted to wait till the last min. to see but I still have hope.
Admin reply: You can check in under the name, but you aren't prisoner to that person. You can camp where ever in the campground where you want.

Comments: I was wondering if anyone can help me and 5 of my friends? August 5th and 6th we were suppose to go down with someone who made reservation already. However the person is being a control freak about everything and now we don't want to be part of his party. He made reservations for 10. Now only him and one person are going out of the group. Anyway's, I have been calling Havasupai on a daily bases to see if any one has cancelled yet so that we can still go without Ike Turner!!! Can anyone help???? Please, the girls have already taken the days off for work....I will check back daily to see.
Admin reply: Just call the tourism office and explain the situation, they 'may' be able to resolve it.

Comments: This is without a doubt one of the most beautiful and refreshling hikes in north america. It combines a remote part of the Grand Canyon, the wilderness, water, desert, huge rock canyons, hostoric Mooney falls and rock face chain ladder, the unique aqua blue river and falls in a cenuturies old remote Havasupai indian reservation setting. Go for it! and it will stay at the top of your famous hikes. :!cool:
